I have only been having Clexane injections for a few days and I am already looking for something to stop the bruises.  It seems ICE has made an incredible difference to bruises I get after Clexane injections.  More specifically, a cold pack that now lives in our freezer.

Check out the image below.  The right is a bruise from an injection without anything applied to my stomach.  The left is a tiny dark pin prick that you can barely see.  To the left, I used a cold pack on my stomach before and after the injection and have no bruise at all.

Sorry to say the ice pack did nothing to ease the pain factor!
